Children of St. Barnabas
Episcopal Church participated in an Exploration/Expression summer
day camp led by Interfaith Power & Light (now Interfaith Works).
Camp participants explored biblical texts
and learned about their connection to God and to each other. They
examined how these connections were reflected in their worship space.
Photography, writing, and building were the three primary methods
of expression used by the participants to illustrate their ideas
and thoughts.
The camp experience culminated with a community celebration at St.
Barnabas, where the camp participants made recommendations to the
congregation about energy use, material use, and their building.
